The effects of emotional intelligence on human resources selection: A research on managers of accommodation enterprises

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of emotional intelligence characteristics of managers on human resources selection in the accommodation enterprises. Previously questionnaire was developed from MSCEIT. Data were gathered from hotel managers with the help of a questionnaire which is conducted face to face. Data was tested with factor analysis and regression analysis on SPSS. The results of the study show that emotional intelligence characteristics of managers in the accommodation enterprises, effect on their decision of human resources selection
