The study was carried out at Ondokuz Mayıs University (N= 187). The average age of the students is 21.02±1.98 (S= 1.98). As a statistical analysis method Pearson correlation coefficient and linear regression analysis were used. The results of the Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient showed that maternal care, maternal overprotection, paternal care and paternal overprotection were related to future time orientation on romantic relationships. The results of the regression analysis indicated that maternal care, maternal overprotection, paternal care and paternal overprotection predicted significantly future time orientation on romantic relationships.
