Abstract

The aim of this investigation was to evaluate practicing of teacher's book and student's workbook based on music classes 2006 primary education teaching program of sixth grade.

Universe of this investigation consisted of Primary Schools of central districts of Ankara depended on Ministry of National Education. By choosing twenty Primary Schools depended on Çankaya, Etimesgut, Kazan, Keçiören, Yenimahalle districts, sample groups were formed.

To analyze all data interview method was used and all data of interview were achieved with the partial intercourse analysis method.
After collecting all data, results were acquired about practicing of teacher's book and student's workbook based on music classes 2006 primary education teaching program of sixth grade level taking part within the sample group. To the results, neccessary suggestions for failing sides were offered.

Author Biographies

Barış Demirci

                                   CURRICULUM VITAE

Barış Demirci was born in Erzurum in September 30th 1975. After he had finished primary school in Erzurum, he completed high school education in 1992. He matriculated Kazım Karabekir Education Faculty Music Education Discipline of Atatürk University in the same year. After he graduated from that department in 1996, in 1997 he began to work as a research assistant in the same department in Atatürk University. In 1999, he began to master education (M.A.) on Music Education Programs in the same department. Barış Demirci, completing his master education in 2001, in 2005 he began his doctorate education in Music Teaching Programme of Institute of Educational Sciences in Gazi University. He finished his postgraduate education in 2009 with his thesis, titled as evaluation of practicing success of teaching program of 2006 primary education music classes of sixth grade level, of teacher's book and of student's workbook. Demirci still continues to work in Kazım Karabekir Education Faculty Music Education Discipline of Atatürk University.

Aytekin Albuz

                                   CURRICULUM VITAE

Aytekin Albuz was born in Zonguldak in 1971. After he had finished primary school in Gökçebey and completed high school education in Devrek. He matriculated Gazi Education Faculty Music Education Discipline of Gazi University in 1988. He graduated from that department in 1992. In the same year, he began to master education (M.A.) in the same department and finished in 1995. In 1996, he began to work as a research assistant in the same department in Gazi University. He began his doctorate education in Music Teaching Programme of Institute of Science and Technology in Gazi University in 1996. He finished his postgraduate education in 2001. Aytekin Albuz, who has four books, thirteen essays, seven announcements and many works over a hundred, studied on viola teaching education both in his master and in postgraduate education. Albuz still continues to work in Gazi Education Faculty Music Education Discipline of Gazi University as an Assoc. Prof. Dr. and he carries on his superviser occupation in master and in postgraduate programs.
