Utopia has become not only a literary genre, but also an important studying area of sociology. Due to including a new idea of society, utopia has a crucial role for the explanation of society in sociology. Moreover inclusion of reconstruction of an old good system in it may lead to alternative society formulas. This characteristic of utopia finds its reflection in sociological studies. In this context, conceptualization of different kind of society in sociology has a significant role. Especially, while looking on these conceptualizations along with emergence of sociology offering solution formulas to social problems and conceptualisation of these overlaps not entirely but only in some important points with classical utopias. The fact that inclusion of society classifications include new society ideas reveals that these classifications have a utopian characteristic. In this study, relationships between classical utopias of Campanella and More’s and society classifications of A. Comte and E. Durkheim were discussed.Downloads
