Evaluation of physical education course attitudes of high school students

In this study,the center of Muğla province of high school students receiving education and training was carried out to assess the attitudes of physical aducation lessons.The population of the study are high school students in the national education ministry, the sample consisted of high school students in the city center of Mugla. Random sampling method in the study with a total of 192 female and 195 male students, including 387 students were included. Socio-demographic characteristics of study of 6 to determine the question and Pehlivan (1997) developed by the physical education course consisting of 22 questions designed to measure attitudes survey subjects were given information in classrooms. Cronbach alpha reliability coefficient of the scale was 0.87, criterion validity coefficient was calculated as 0.84.
The data were analyzed using SPSS 14.0 package program. Socio-demographic characteristics of the subjests to determine the frequency and percentage analysis, independent t-test to detect differences between the sexes, classes and departments to determine the differences between the one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) and simplex stems from analysis of variance to determine which group differences as a result of the Tukey HSD test was applied.
According to tests, the subjects 49.6% boys and 50.4% girls, 41.1% high school grade students, 39.5% were digital section. Looking at the differences between the sexes in the majority of questions of p <0.05 significant differences were found. Looking at the questions again, the majority of the differences between classes and sections of p <0.05 significant differences were found.
As a result, these differences in students' physical education classes in this period of adolescence that is taking shape attitudes created. In this respect, the formation of secondary students' attitude in terms of physical education lesson seen that a significant period. Fort his reason, it is required that secondary school students attitudes of direction and intensinsty should be measured.
