Abstract

Nursing education is a process that based on theoretical and practical teaching-learning experiences. In this process, it is proposed that professional knowledge is given to students and reflected to their behoviours, help to develop themself, provide to communicate effectively with healthy/ill person, family and society, other professional members and friends. Communication between faculty and students in the teaching-learning process is vitally important to be able to learn desired behaviors. Because the communication process will affect both the individuals' behaviors as well as their learning, healthy communication needs to be established and maintained, particularly in educational environments. Education today, particularly professional and university level education is defined as an interactive process. Failure to have reciprocal relationships in this interactive process will have a negative effect on education . Based on this information the evaluation of the teacher-learner relationship will be evaluated from a different aspect, the individual and communication theory which is the Transactional Analysis.
