A pool of 35 items was prepared with the help of information from literature and contributions of professionals. The scale was applied to 692 students. Factor analysis has been used to determine the structural validity of the scale. In the factor analysis, the main components analysis with varimax transformation has been used. For the reliability, inner co-efficiency has been employed and regarding this total matter correlations have been calculated Kaiser- Meyer Olkin value has been measured as 0.94 and the inner co-efficiency as 0.90. These results show that the scale worked on is a reliable and valid means to measure the attitudes of the students towards music lessons.
