Abstract

There are two main aims of this study; first; define the validity and reliability of “the Motivational Factors Scale for participating in recreational Trekking activities -MFST”; and “the Benefits Scale of participating in Trekking activities - BST”; second; find out the impacts of MFST on BST.

As a result, the Motivational Factors Scale for participating recreational Trekking activities, the Benefits Scale of participating in Trekking activities were reliable and valid in the estimation of the motivational factors and benefits of participating in trekking for the Turkish population.
