The observation of the relationship between maximal oxygen consumption capasity and body composition in children

Abstract

In this study, we have observed the relationship between body composition and maximal oxygen consumption, which is the sign of stability. 92 boys and 52 girls who come into physical education and sport lesson for two hours in a week came into this study. Between of the gender, in the datas, which are body fat percent, body fat thickness, endomorphy and mezomorphy differentiation observed (P < 0.01, P < 0.05). While we have obtain the relationship in positive side which are between maximal oxygen consumption accounts and age, length and fatless body thickness; between body fat percent and endomorphy accounts in negative side obtained. Maximal oxygen consumption accounts of girls and body thickness, BMI, body fat percent, fatless body thickness, body fat thickness, between endomorphy and mezomorphy accounts in negative side; between ectomorphy accounts in positive side relationship has been found.

Duygu Harmandar

1983 İzmir doğumluyum.2004 yılında Dumlupınar Üniversitesi Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Yüksekokulu, Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Öğretmenliği Bölümünü başarıyla bitirdim. 2005 yılında Sakarya Üniversitesi Soyal Bilimler Enstitüsü Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Anabilim Dalında Yüksek Lisansa başladım. 2006 ylı Şubat ayından beri Sakarya Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Bölümünde görev yapmaktayım.
