Abstract

The aim of this study is “Dumlupınar and Sakarya Universities’ Physical Education and Sport School Students’ Participation Reasons and Participation Level in Leisure Time Activities”. The system of this reseach contains the students of Physical Education and Sport in Sakarya and Dumlupınar Universities’.The exemplification of the study is formed with 336 students (from Sakarya University 167 and Dumlupınar University 169 students). A questionnaire including demographyc information and participation reasons in leisure time activities have been aplied to the students. As a statistical method chi-square and cross-tabulation were performed for finding significance about features (p > 0.05). SPSS 11.5 (Statistical Package Program) has been used the data and to final the calculated mean.

Author Biographies

Çetin Özdilek, Yrd.Doç.Dr.

1989 yılında Marmara Üniversitesi Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Öğretmenliği bölümünü; 1992'de yüksek lisans öğrenimimi; 1998 yılında ise doktoramı yine Marmara Üniversitesinde tamamladım. 1994 yılından bu yana Dumlupınar Üniversitesinde görev yapmaktayım.

Mehmet Demirel, Arş.Gör.

2003 yılında Hacettepe Üniversitesi Spor Bilimleri Teknolojisi Yüksekokulunu başarıyla bitirdim. 2005 yılında Gazi Üniversitesi, Sağlık Bilimleri Enstitüsünde yüksek lisansımı tamamladım. 2005 yılında Gazi Üniversitesi, Eğitim Bilimleri Enstitüsünde doktora programını kazandım. 2005 yılından bu yana Dumlupınar Üniversitesinde araştırma görevlisi olarak görev yapmaktayım.  

Duygu Harmandar, Arş.Gör.

2004 yılında Dumlupınar Üniversitesi, Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Yüksekokulu, Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Öğretmenliği Bölümünü başarıyla bitirdim. 2005 yılında Sakarya Üniversitesi, Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Öğretmenliği Anabilim Dalında yüksek lisansa başladım. 2005 yılından bu yana Sakarya Üniversitesinde araştırma görevlisi olarak görev yapmaktayım.
