Global approach to migration in the European Union

One of the most important problems that the European Union encounters today is migration towards the lands of the Union. The economic, political and sosyo-cultural impacts emerging from migration whether it is legal or illegal put pressure on the deepening efforts of the Union and, thus, force to search for new policies to take under control. The Global Approach to Migration as the most comprehensive and ambitious policy until today has been on the agenda since the end of 2005. In this study, after presenting information regarding the chronological development and magnitude of migration, this new approach will be explained.Downloads
