Mirrors in sports halls have changed from an accessory view to an educational material view for the individual who teaches and learns physical activities (dance, boxing, pilates, zumba, gymnastics, etc.) in which visual learning is predominant. In this context, the aim of our research is to examine the studies carried out on 'mirrors in sports' in the field of sports, and to find out what kind of effect the educational environment is mirrored on teaching, learning and psycho-social processes of individuals. In the study, in which the thematic review design was used, a detailed literature review was made, and the research data were obtained by examining the resources from journals, books, theses and papers within the scope of Google Scholar, Pubmed and Yöktez. Document analysis method was used in the analysis of the data obtained. As a result, the achievable national and international studies on mirrors; mirrors provide an advantage in skill learning for the individual who provides education and training during learning, but in the process of learning, especially in professional athletes, if the use of mirrors continues, proprioception (deep sensation) and kinesthesia (joint position awareness) may cause regression and in individual sports branches where visual learning method is used and It has also been observed that the use of mirrors in physical activities involving group exercises may have negative psycho-social effects for beginner athletes or sedentary individuals.
