This study investigates the views of housewives on participation in the work life and the results are evaluated for the female employment activities which are executed by NGOs. None of the women were working when the research was carried out whereas 70 women (18.2%) reported that they had been previously employed. The number of women who never worked is 314 (81.8%). Majority of women taken under the scope of research (70.6%) reported that they were unwilling to work. The rate of women who were willing to work is 29.4%. Considering women’s willingness to work with respect to their age, educational level and number of children the rate of women having reported to be unwilling to work has been the highest in all groups with varying ages, educational levels, and numbers of children.Downloads
