"Insan-i kamil" as an ethical idea in Islamic thought

The teaching of Insan-ı Kamil is an total understanding of man through systematical and conceptual approach in Islamic thought which was accumulated through philosophy to Kalam, Fiqh to tasawwuf. Insan-ı Kamil has not only ontological and epistemological roots but also it is an experience through religious and ethical experience. Insan-ı kâmil aim to reach personal purification and perfection of man. In this respect, Insan-ı kâmil is a perfect man who wants to reach perfect ethical experience.
