The purpose of this study was to introduce to the reader the life story research one of the qualitative methods. Life history inquiry has been explained step by step so that the reader was given the opportunity to follow and conduct their own interviews. The description of this research was made, historical progress was explained and the purpose for this type of research was explained. Then, the application of this method in psychology, sociology and anthropology was examined. In addition, advantages, benefits, difficulties and limitations of life history were also reviewed by addressing different authors concerns. Finally, a pure qualitative method offered by Dollard (1935) and a semi-structured interviews by McAdams (1995) was introduced to the reader. Özet Bu çalışmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden yaşam öyküsü araştırması (life history inqury) tanıtılmaya çalışılmıştır. Downloads
